Drumstick Curry

 Drumstick is my personally liked vegetable.It's used to prepare in various ways.Today I would like to share my mother's recipe of Drumstick Curry.Hope you would like it.


Ingredients

Fresh and tender Drumsticks -2 to 3

Potatoes 2 -cubed

Fresh coconut paste-1/4 cup

Mix masala or Garam masala powder + Red chilly powder-2  tablespoons

For tempering :mustered,cumin asafoetida and turmeric

Salt to taste 

Edible oil 2 to 3 tablespoons


Method 

Peel the drumsticks and make 3 to 4 inches pieces.Also peel the potatoes and chop them into medium sized cubes.Both veggies shoud be dip into water.

Now heat the kadhai and pour the oil into it.When oil is hot , add tempering followed by the veggies.Saute well.Add salt, powdered spices and 1/2 cup of water.Mix well and close the lid.Check the water level and add as per requirement.

The potatoes and drumsticks should be fully cooked.Then the sabji is ready to serve. switch off the gas and garnish the sabji with chopped coriander. 

Enjoy with steamed rice.
